This week I decided to show the children how to do an easy, healthy and tasty breakfast – porridge with fruits. They enjoyed it because they know the dish before but not how to do it.
Here the recipe for the interested people:
200g oats (fine)
Cut the apples and bananas in small pieces.
Then mix the oats with the milk and cinnamon and heat it. Let it cook for around 10min at low heat. When the porridge get stir, because the oats soak up all the milk you can turn the heating off and add the fruits – ready is the porridge. If the porridge gets to dry you can add more milk.
Tip: You can use also others fruits and add some nuts if you like.
